Wait, Dwyane Wade Has A Wine Label?

File this under things I didn’t see coming: Heat guard Dwyane Wade has been touring China to debut his very own wine label. Called simply: “Wade”, the label has been a big hit in the country that adores all things basketball. They love the NBA so much that Wade can develop a line of artisinal slightly edible cardboard boxes and it would be a huge hit. But that doesn’t mean the wine is awful by any stretch. In fact, the wine connoisseurs in China might rank among the most discerning in the world.

Wade hasn’t disclosed the wine’s varietal, and it’s unclear if the wine is yet available for purchase. China produces the seventh-largest amount of wine of any country in the world, though, according to the International Organization of Vine and Wine. So Wade’s Chinese fans could be well-suited consumers.

And there you have it. First China, then the world. Though as big as China is, the world might be an easier step.
