The saga about what Tony Romo will be doing in 2017 is now over; at least for now.  The Cowboys released Romo yesterday right before CBS announced that he will replace Phil Simms as the lead color commentator on NFL broadcasts this upcoming season.  The news was a huge deviation from the chatter going less than a month ago when most were convinced Romo would play at least a few more years before hanging up his cleats.  On March 9, speculation reached fever pitch when the Texans traded QB Brock Osweiler to the Browns apparently in an attempt to free up cap space to make a move for Romo.  Twitter took everything a step further, of course, as numerous people assumed that Romo would be on the Texans in short order…
