Ever since the Patriots began their 16 year dynasty as the NFL’s elite team, each year when playoff time comes around it is essentially an unwritten requirement that analysts and talking heads must opine about which teams will pose the “biggest threats” to the Patriots in the postseason.  This season, the Pittsburgh Steelers received an overwhelming majority of biggest-threat-to-Patriots declarations.  The Steelers biggest threat buzz grew so much leading up to the game that, despite being 5-point underdogs on the road, 4 out of 5 of these NFL Network analysts picked the Steelers to win…

Turns out, the Steelers posed no threat as they were walloped by the Patriots 36-17 in Sunday’s AFC Championship Game, clinching another New England Super Bowl appearance.  Here are some of the “Steelers are the Patriots biggest threat” takes…
