Normally, we don’t write about cricket very often on The Comeback unless something incredibly out of the ordinary happens. In Australia’s KFC Big Bash League (what a sponsor), Chris Lynn of the Brisbane Heat did this:

The blast landed 125 meters away on the roof, or if you’re converting to American units, 410 feet. While that’s not crazy long by baseball home run standards, it is in cricket. That shot was worth six runs (I have no idea how cricket rules work), but Lynn commented that it probably should be worth more, and I’ll agree with him since he knows way more about the sport than I do.

Since in cricket you can run with your bat, there was no Jose Bautista bat flip at the end of this moonshot, but there probably should have been.
