We have met a lot of Florida men this year who have done some very strange things. It seems like every single week another Florida man emerges onto the scene to do something no other Florida man had done before. That was the case again on Friday in Ocala, Florida.
This week in the Florida man chronicles, a man in Ocala got into a car crash, got out of his car, stripped naked, walked away from the accident, and then on his way out damaged the door of a police car that had responded to the incident.
Florida, never change.
According to the Associated Press, Marion County Sheriff’s officials released a statement saying Andrew Humphries, 18, is being charged with one felony count of criminal mischief and one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief for his Florida man antics.
The AP obtained video showing Humphries walking past the deputy in his police car naked, the quotes that follow after are just terrific:
“That’s not normal,” then adds, “You are absolutely naked, my man. Another thing not normal.”
Outside of his misdemeanor and felony criminal mischief charges, Humphries is accused of ripping the door handle off a different police car. The 18-year-old is currently in jail for his actions.
