It’s not every day you get two top athletes from different sports to team up. That’s just what Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods are doing next weekend. Sure, Peyton is retired and Tiger’s best days on the golf course are behind him but it’s still pretty cool.

Peyton and Tiger will be playing in a pro-am at the site of The Memorial at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio May 30. The two have been great friends and even played together in pro-am’s twice before. They first teamed up at Bay Hill in 2005 and then at Quail Hollow in 2009.

Manning revealed a bit about how he operated his offense and in coming up with his pre-snap terminology. Because Tiger was the number one ranked golfer in the world and Phil Mickelson was number two, Manning yelled “Tiger” if he wanted to snap on one and yelled “Phil” when he wanted to snap on two. Hearing that now, it seems rather obvious but it probably caught some teams out at the time.
