Regis Jesuit High School’s Fran Belibi threw down a dunk in the team’s game against Grand Junction High School on Friday night, and in doing so, became the first girl to dunk in a Colorado high school game.

And Belibi is only a 15-year-old sophomore!

Here’s video of the one-handed slam:

Regis — located in the metro Denver area — won the game 78-23, and is now 4-3 on the season. When you see that score, and of course the dunk, it’s hard to believe that Regis has lost three times in seven games.

The 6’1″ Belibi has certainly done her part, averaging 18.0 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.4 rebounds per game. As SportsCenter’s Nicole Briscoe said during the Top Plays segment in the video above, “Geno Auriemma, are you watching?”

Also for a little “did you know?” action: Regis is the high school Walt Weiss was coaching baseball when the Colorado Rockies hired him as manager.
