The Chicago Cubs are visiting the White House and Donald Trump today, for some reason, even though they already visited the White House as World Series champions when Barack Obama was still in office.

The trip was optional, but a handful of Cubs players showed up. Among them is Albert Almora, Jr., the Cubs’ center fielder. Here he is, standing next to Trump with a discrete middle finger out and a giant smirk on his face.

Was this on purpose? I don’t know! It’s funny regardless.

As for Almora’s political views, he hasn’t said anything publicly about Trump. He said that he was excited to go see the president before this visit.

But Albert Almora Jr. isn’t missing the chance for a second trip: “I just look at it as it’s not every day you get to meet the President of the United States. And in a year I get to meet two.”

The only vaguely political thing he’s ever favorited, however, contradicts Trump’s worldview.
