Criticize Bryce Harper all you’d like, but the one thing you can’t call out the Washington Nationals star on is the fact he does as he pleases.
Harper showed off some of his unconventionality at his wedding day. The all-star outfielder posted a wedding video on his Instagram page, showcasing, among many other things, his relationship-themed jacket liner. Harper included pictures with multiple moments with now wife, Kayla Varner, in the unique jacket.
The rest of the video is the mushy wedding stuff you’d expect to see, such as, the groom first seeing the bride, walking into a wedding party as a married couple and plenty of sweet moments between Harper and Varner. Also, holy crap, the San Diego Temple the couple got married at looks like a Disney castle – what a stunning venue.
It’s great to see Harper has got the same enthusiasm for big moments outside of baseball, just as he does when playing. I mean duh, marriage is a huge deal for anyone regardless of fame. But, Harper managed to make small details of his wedding as big as his personality. As an outside spectator, that’s great. Congrats the Harper and Varner tying the knot.
