Nobody makes more unbelievable plays at third base than Nolan Arenado (though Manny Machado makes his fair share as well). And on Tuesday night in Kansas City, the Colorado Rockies star made one of his most amazing plays yet.

The Royals’ Alcides Escobar hit a bouncer down the third base line that looked like it would be a double, or at the very least an infield single. But Arenado made a great play to snag the ball, and then with his momentum going towards the stands, made an insane jump throw from the third base coach box to get Escobar by several steps.

This is just absurd:

And as you’ll notice in the video, Arenado also hit a two-run dinger off Royals pitcher Danny Duffy to break up the left-hander’s no-hit bid in the sixth. So Arenado certainly put on an all-around show, but it wasn’t enough for the Rockies as they fell 3-2 to the Royals.
