Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona is a well-known practical joker. And with Kevin Cash’s Tampa Bay Rays in town, Francona couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a shot at his friend.

Cash played under Francona with the Red Sox in 2007 and 2008, and worked for him as bullpen coach with the Indians in 2013 and 2014 before being hired by the Rays to replace Joe Maddon as manager going into the 2015 season.

In case you’re curious, Francona hit .274/.300/.351 over his ten year career, substantially better than Cash’s .183/.248/.278 mark. His below average OPS+ of 81 is also vastly better than Cash’s dire 37.
