It appeared the San Francisco Giants were going to come away with a 7-6 victory on Monday night at AT&T Park, until Jake Lamb changed that with one heroic swing for the Arizona Diamondbacks.

With two outs in the top of the ninth, a 2-2 count, and the crowd on their feet, Lamb sent a Santiago Casilla offering high and deep into the San Francisco night. The ball stayed in the air for a while (compared to your usual flyball), and barely cleared the 25-foot Levi’s Landing brick wall in right field. But that was enough to tie the game 7-7.

Here’s video of the dramatic moment, with Diamondbacks play-by-play man Steve Berthiaume on the call:

And Lamb wasn’t done crushing the ball, as he added an RBI double off the center field wall in the 11th inning.

Thanks to Lamb’s clutch efforts, the Diamondbacks got a huge 9-7 comeback victory in 11 innings.
