“Bush League” is a term you may hear in the baseball world to describe something that is viewed as disrespectful to the game, cheap, unsportsmanlike, etc. Basically the “unwritten rules” nonsense.

It is not the name of MLB’s Spring Training league played in Florida.

That would be the Grapefruit League (and the Cactus League is in Arizona).

And that’s information Jeopardy! contestant Jack could’ve really used when he got an $800 clue in the “Spring Medley” category on Wednesday night.

Alex Trebek: Spring Training baseball in Florida is known as this league.

Jack: What is the Bush League?

Swing and a miss. Come on, Jack!

Of course, most of us would’ve whiffed on several of the questions Jack got right before the baseball one.
