The Cubs knocked off the Reds 9-5 on Tuesday, which not only got the team back to .500, but also gave manager Joe Maddon his 1,000th win. Celebrating in the most Joe Maddon way possible, the manager had a glass of red wine over his postgame press conference.

Maddon is the eighth active manager and the 63rd in MLB history to reach the 1,000-win milestone. Let’s hope he doesn’t get fired for drinking on the job.

And Maddon will donate 1,000 meals to people in the Chicago and Tampa Bay areas (he won 754 games with the Rays from 2006 to 2014).
