The Atlanta Braves had to make a sudden change to their lineup when a pregame accident forced them to pull shortstop Johan Camargo from his expected start before the first pitch.

Camargo was injured running out to the field for warm-ups.

Here’s how it happened.

Camargo reportedly hyper-extended his knee and has an MRI coming.

It’s unclear what Camargo’s status is, but he had to be helped off the field and very clearly could not play in the game. There didn’t seem to be anything that Camargo tripped over on the field—it was just a freak accident.

Camargo has had a solid rookie season with the Braves, hitting .292 with an OPS of .781.
