Jose Canseco is wasting no time in 2017 firing off his Twitter rants about anything that comes to mind.

Canseco has been his own defender of the truth when it comes to baseball’s tainted history, and he let all of his followers know he thinks it is time for MLB commissioner Rob Manfred to crack down on something that is entirely out of his control; hall of fame voting.

The Baseball Hall of Fame voting process is conducted through the Baseball Writers Association of America, not the commissioner of baseball. Of course, Manfred is the face of the sport’s leadership so his thoughts and opinions are warranted on any subject related to baseball. Regardless, Canseco had an agenda and he was going to stick to it.

Oh, don’t worry. Canseco is just getting warmed up. Canseco used former “Bash Brother” Mark McGwire for his next slam on Manfred.

Hang on. Canseco is coming up to a grand finale…

Conseco knows his tweets are going to develop conversation (success!), but he issues no apology for his views and opinions.

We’re still wondering when Conseco is going to expand on some other topics.
