Tampa Bay Rays centerfielder Kevin Kiermaier went all “Jordan Flu Game” on Brian McCann and the Detroit Tigers on Friday night at Tropicana Field.

In the top of the second, McCann crushed an Alex Cobb offering to deep right-center field, and was robbed of extra bases on a ridiculous leaping catch at the wall by Kiermaier. This would’ve been a dinger-robbing catch in many parks:

Kiermaier is a magician defensively and makes absurd plays like this several times each year. But this catch was a bit more impressive given that Kiermaier was apparently ill, and left the game just four innings later:

Literally a sick play.
