The Los Angeles Dodgers need one win to advance to the World Series, and they’re in pretty damn good shape to get that win tonight. The Dodgers have a 9-1 lead on the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field through four innings on Thursday night, and Kike Hernandez has driven in five of those runs.

Hernandez cranked a Jose Quintana offering for a solo shot on the first pitch of the second inning.

And Hernandez (for all intents and purposes) put the game out of reach with a grand slam, oppo taco style in the top of the fourth.

The Dodgers have had outstanding plate appearances all night, and and made Quintana’s line (2 IP, 6 H, 6 ER) look much worse than he actually was.

Los Angeles is on the verge of reaching their first World Series since 1988.

UPDATE: Kike hit No. 3!
