It sure seems Manny Machado is fixed.

After a rough first half (.230/.296/.445) of the season, Machado is looking much more like the superstar he is in the second half. Machado entered the Orioles’ game against the Angels on Friday night with a .333/.365/.541 second-half slash line, and those numbers got a big boost by the time the game was over.

Machado cranked three dingers, drove in seven runs, and hit a walkoff-grand slam to give Baltimore a crazy 9-7 win in comeback fashion over the Angels at Camden Yards:

The game was also very important for the wacky AL Wild Card race. The win puts the Orioles (60-62) just two games back in the crowded race, while the Angels (62-60) fall into a tie for the second slot with the Twins (and the Royals and Mariners are just 0.5 games back themselves).
