The Miami Marlins got a 10-6 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday, in probably the least cared about in-state “rivalry” in professional sports. But 12,285 fans were lucky enough to witness Miami’s Marcell Ozuna test the limits of Tropicana Field!

Ozuna blasted a ridiculous dinger that was measured at 468 feet by Statcast, and the thing may have threatened to leave the stadium hit the end of the dome had it not hit the Rays’ 2011 AL  Wild Card banner first.

Seriously, Ozuna’s homer hit the Rays’ 2011 Wild Card banner hanging well beyond the left field wall:

What a blast, and it’s the longest for Ozuna in the Statcast era.
