Boston Red Sox right fielder Mookie Betts has had a remarkable season so far, with FanGraphs ranking him second in the majors in wins above replacement at 6.5 (just behind only Jose Ramirez and just ahead of Mike Trout). Betts has been the best hitter in baseball this season, with MLB’s top OPS (1.125), wRC+ (199), batting average (.355)… you name it. He’s up there.

But he’s also an elite defender and he showed off those talents in Boston’s game against the Detroit Tigers on Saturday night at Comerica Park.

Watch Betts show off his hops to rob Leonys Martin of a home run:

An incredible play, and about the only thing to go well for Boston on the night. The Tigers came away with a 5-0 victory.
