The New York Mets got an 8-4 victory over the Miami Marlins on Tuesday night at Citi Field, and have now won eight of their last 10 games. As a result, they’re right in the thick of the NL Wild Card race, just 2.5 games behind the St. Louis Cardinals for the second Wild Card slot.

However, all of the good vibes didn’t stop Mets star starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard from tweeting out a message about something he wasn’t very happy with from the team’s fans Tuesday night. Syndergaard tweeted that he wants “the name and the address of the person who started the ‘wave’ tonight”, and followed with the hashtags “#banthewave #resisttheurge”:

I certainly support this message from Thor, and I’d imagine most people reading this do as well. Let’s get #BanTheWave trending on Twitter.

But, if the wave isn’t banned, don’t expect Syndergaard to want to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers down the road in free agency, as he probably wouldn’t enjoy playing in Dodger Stadium too much.
