Playoff pressure can get to the fans, too. With the Blue Jays needing three runs in the bottom of the ninth Wednesday to keep their dream of a first World Series berth since 1993 alive, a fan bolted onto the field from the right field stands, stripped off his shirt and survived for about 10 seconds on the field before several security knocked him to the ground behind second base.

The streaker failed to spark Toronto as Indians closer Cody Allen tossed another scoreless inning and Cleveland won 3-0.

You could also go down the conspiracy route here. Was this guy hired to take out Allen, who has allowed only one run since Aug. 17? Then again, coaches and players often talk about extending the game when you’re down in the bottom of the ninth, so maybe this was a way to drag things out.

Here’s a few more angles. You do the detective work.

The TBS broadcast crew of Ernie Johnson and Ron Darling didn’t exactly take kindly to the streaker interrupting the broadcast.

If only they took the Kevin Harlan route
