Wednesday proved to be quite the night for Colorado Rockies’ shortstop Trevor Story. In the bottom of the first inning of the Rockies’ clash with the San Francisco Giants, Story belted a 459-foot homer off Andrew Suárez while falling down:

Then, in his next at-bat (which came in the fourth inning), Story hit another home run off Suárez. And this one was tracked at 505 feet, making it not only the longest home run of this season, but the longest tracked in the Statcast era (since 2015):

Oh, and he wasn’t done there. In his next at-bat in the bottom of the sixth, Story hit yet another home run off Suárez, and then celebrated as seen above:

That third shot marked Story’s fifth home run of this series (in its third game), and his 31st of the year. Playing at high-elevation Coors Field definitely helps, but Story’s also an impressive hitter with a lot of power. And he certainly showed that Wednesday.
