The artist formerly known as BJ Upton took away a home run from Matt Joyce on Wednesday night, in the San Diego Padres’ 8-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Watch Melvin Upton Jr. leap over the Petco Park left field wall to rob Joyce of a two-run homer in the ninth (with Hall of Famer Dick Enberg on the call):

It certainly helps to have like a seven-foot wall to leap over, but still a fantastic grab by the San Diego left fielder. The tip of the cap from Joyce was great as well.
