Ronda Rousey was seemingly not a happy camper following her surprise appearance at UFC 205 to promote her upcoming return to the Octagon against Amanda Nunes. Now, it appears we know why.

Here’s the video in question:

The incident, where Rousey exited stage left abruptly as Dana White was trying to hype up the Rousey-Nunes match, was bizarre. White explained her leaving as a production error:

She was never supposed to speak, and neither was Amanda,” “My production guy screwed that up. It made Ronda look bad again – like she just stormed off.

“They were not supposed to do an interview. They were supposed to go out there and square off, and they were both supposed to walk away.”

According to MMAFighting.com’s Dave Meltzer, that wasn’t exactly true. When asked on Twitter if there was any truth to reports Rousey was so upset she had to be consoled after the appearances, Meltzer responded with “true.”

After more than a year off, Rousey returns to the ring December 30 against Nunes. Let’s see if she channels the energy showed at the press conference in the fight and delivers a classic, dominant performance.
