Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond is a double-double machine (averaging 14.3 points and 13.4 rebounds per game), but my goodness is he an absolutely horrible free throw shooter.

Like, the very worst free throw shooter in the NBA, and arguably the worst free throw shooter of all-time. Heck, last season he set an NBA record with 23 missed free throws in a game.

He’s actually been improving in that department this season, with his free throw percentage “up” to 44.5, which is much better than his career percentage of 38.7. But, his 2016-17 mark is still dead-last in the NBA.

Well, somehow, he can’t make half of his free throws, but he can make shots from 62 freakin’ feet away.

Drummond intercepted a long Los Angeles Lakers pass on Sunday night at Staples Center, and turned around to drain a 62-footer at the halftime buzzer:

Amazing. As for his free throws? He went 2-for-5 (or just below his average). But, he did score 15 points and pull down 17 rebounds in the Pistons’ 102-97 win over the Lakers.
