The Milwaukee Bucks are 14-15 this season, including 10-7 at home, and currently are in possession of the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs with quite a ways to go. The Bucks have 24 home games left this season and are looking for a way to bring fans to the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
As of Tuesday morning, Milwaukee ranks 27th in the league in attendance with an average of only 15,223 fans turning out to watch the Bucks play at home. In an effort to increase that number and ranking, Milwaukee is offering fans a ticket package that guarantees them seats to 10 wins.
So you’re probably wondering – how can a team guarantee you get to see 10 wins at home? Well, that’s where the Bucks’ got extremely creative.
The ticket package costs $149 and goes on sale from Tuesday December 27th through Wednesday January 11th. The plan itself begins on January 13th for the Bucks game against the Miami Heat, and from that point forward, the Bucks will play 21 home games (including the Miami game).
Fans who purchase the package will have the location of their seats move from game to game, and they’ll get the ticket on the Bucks app on the day of the game. What makes this interesting is that their ticket package will be active until the Bucks win 10 home games in that 21-game stretch.

So basically, if the Bucks lose the first 11 games of that 21-game span and then win the final 10, Milwaukee fans who purchase the package will have bought tickets to 21 games for only $149. That’s $7.09 per game!
On the other hand, if the Bucks win the first 10 games of that 21-game stretch, fans will have paid 149 bucks (pun not intended) for 10 games, which is still a reasonable $14.90 per game.
“As our team on the court makes a playoff push, the business team is continually looking for creative ways to engage Bucks fans that match the creativity they see from guys like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker on a nightly basis,” Dustin Godsey, the Bucks’ Chief Marketing Officer told ESPN.
The first 10 games of the 21-game home schedule on the ticket plan are against the Heat (twice), Rockets, Celtics, Lakers, Pistons, Jazz, Suns, and 76ers (twice). Seven of those eight teams currently have losing records, which means its likely the Bucks win a good portion of those first 10 games.
“There’s nothing like a Bucks victory in front of a packed house at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Our staff continues to build creative and innovative platforms to give even more Bucks fans the opportunity to see a win by the home team. We’re thrilled to roll out this one-of-a-kind ticket pass and give our great fans a winning experience,” Bucks President Peter Feigin said in a statement on the team’s website.
The promotion, dubbed (pun completely intended) “the 10-Win Pass,” also includes additional bonuses for fans who buy the package. According to the Bucks’ website, “fans who purchase the 10-Win Pass will receive additional ticket bonuses if the Bucks have home winning streaks of five or 10 games during the duration of the pass.”
Milwaukee also clearly outlined the process of buying the “10-Win Pass” on their website:
- Purchase your Pass online through *My Bucks Account
- Between 24-48 hours after your purchase, you will receive **instructions on how to register your pass through the Bucks mobile app.
- Once you receive the email, go to the Bucks App, tap the tickets section and tap the Bucks Pass tile. Use the same email you used to purchase.
- Receive your seat location via the app on the day of the game
- Use your mobile pass to gain access to the BMO Harris Bradley Center
After the deal, fans took to social media to praise the Bucks for this plan:
this is easily the greatest ticket deal in the history of sports.

However, some have also noticed the odd situation surrounding the promotion…
confused? As a fan, I'm rooting for losses right? More losses = more games I can attend?
