We have seen plenty of NBA players getting some wildly rich contracts this offseason, leaving many to question just how much many of these players are really worth. The latest player to get a ridiculous contract appears to be none other than CJ McCollum, according to the one and only Adrian Wojnarowski.
Portland guard CJ McCollum has reached agreement on a four-year, $106M maximum contract extension, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Hey, good for CJ. Who says you can’t make big money by playing basketball at Lehigh, right? You knew that, didn’t you? It’s OK if you forgot about that, although he did put together a well-regarded career in the college ranks before rising to be a 10th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft.
This past season saw McCollum named the NBA’s most improved player, so Portland had good reason for keeping him in the fold. The question remains, did they outbid themselves?

I like CJ McCollum. He's a very good player. But he just got a "max" deal. You think teams should only have 1 max player? Crazy.

Yep, pretty crazy. Keep it going NBA teams, because there is always time to raise the crazy meter just a bit more.
