Lonzo Ball began his Los Angeles Lakers career with a bang, tossing a perfect alley-oop pass to Brandon Ingram on his first possession of Summer League play. But one play won’t shut up his haters, including WNBA star Elena Delle Donne.

Delle Donne roasted Ball’s ugly-by-consensus Big Baller Brand shoes, the ZO2’s and gave a shoutout to Nike, one of her sponsors.

It’s worth noting that Lonzo’s infamous father, LaVar Ball, wanted a $1 billion shoe deal for his three sons, and Nike — along with Adidas and Under Armour– wanted no part of that. Nike exec George Raveling also called LaVar “the worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years.”

And Delle Donne wasn’t just throwing out some trash talk on Twitter. She was clearly tuned in to the game, apparently hate-watching Lonzo’s shoes.

It’s Twitter, so inevitably many people got irate over a fun little joke and bashed Delle Donne for wishing an injury upon Ball. She later made clear she was only talking about the shoes.

The ZO2’s cost $495. Delle Donne’s Hyperdunks cost $140. You figure out which one to buy.
