The Golden State Warriors had their 2017-18 season opener on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena, and that meant it was time to celebrate their 2016-17 championship before the game started.

The Warriors raised their championship banner:

And they also got these massive, incredible rings:

The rings recognize NBA Finals MVP Kevin Durant, as well as their record in each playoff series last season, and the years of the team’s other championships.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell says that the rings have “more diamonds than any championship ring in sports.”

Unfortunately for the Warriors, the game didn’t go as well, with Kevin Durant having a buzzer-beating jumper waved off to give the Rockets a 122-121 win.
