Gregg Popovich

Gregg Popovich is a legend. Not only for his 1,150 career wins, but also for his sarcastic comments and antics. (And more recently, his political and social comments as well).

Here’s the San Antonio Spurs coach chasing a TNT cameraman down a hallway prior to Thursday’s Game 3 against the Grizzlies:

Remember how clunky and heavy those TV cameras are. It’s not easy to run with those without falling, but our anonymous hero behind the camera kept his feet under him.

I’m glad it got a good laugh out of the sometimes surly coach. But he wasn’t laughing later in the night when Vince Carter brought the FedExForum crowd to its feet with this monster dunk:

And he certainly wasn’t laughing at the final score, with the Grizzlies beating the Spurs 105-94. San Antonio still holds the lead in the series at 2-1.
