Dwyane Wade stunned the basketball world by choosing to sign a two-year deal with the Chicago Bulls earlier in the week. The 12-time All-Star has spent his entire 13-year career with the Miami Heat, and helped lead them to three NBA championships.

The Heat are surely disappointed in Wade’s decision to leave Miami, but they’re thankful for the remarkable 13 seasons he gave them, and they’re showing how appreciative they are with an awesome sale on his merchandise.

On Friday, all Wade merchandise sold at The Miami Heat Store locations will be $13, in honor of his 13 seasons with the team:

Confirmed by the Heat’s official website:

In addition, all Dwyane Wade merchandise will be sold for $13.00 at all The Miami HEAT Store locations while supplies last.

ALL merchandise? That’s pretty amazing, as FTW’s Andrew Joseph points out:

So, it doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a Dwyane Wade hat or a Dwyane Wade authentic jersey, it will cost $13.

I must say that this is an incredible deal and a shame that it isn’t offered online. Wade is a player who has won three championships in Miami. There is no shame in keeping his jersey (and wearing it in public). Even better if you can score a $200 jersey for $13.

Some Heat fans have already chosen to burn their Wade jerseys, but if I were a Heat fan, I’d be all over this $13 merchandise. It’s hard to accept Wade leaving the team right now if you’re a Miami fan, but look back at what he’s done for the franchise, and think about how he’s going to be viewed 10+ years from now: a Miami Heat legend.
