The novelty of Pokemon Go may have fizzled as the summer wore on, but Iman Shumpert of the Cleveland Cavaliers appears to still be catching them all while he still can before the start of a new season.
Teammate Kyrie Irving spilled the beans with a video on his Instagram page showing Shumpert on the beach in Miami playing Pokemon Go on his phone, thus delaying the yoga session the two Cavs were about to start.
The dedication to get that Staryu from Shumpert is to be admired. Irving must have some Pokemon Go awareness too, because he called what was about to happen once Shumpert tried to capture his target.
I wonder if Shumpert will be killing time between games playing Super Mario Run this season.
