draymond green-james harden-houston rockets-golden state warriors

During the second quarter of the Rockets’ game against the Warriors on Tuesday night, James Harden did what untold numbers of NBA players have long dreamed of doing: He dunked all over Draymond Green’s obnoxious ass.

The play came with just over six minutes to play before halftime, when Harden drove by Kevon Looney, slid past Steph Curry and cruised toward the hoop. Draymond, last year’s Defensive Player of the Year, slid over to contest Harden’s attempt… and soon came to wish he hadn’t.

Here’s another look:

That’s gonna make one hell of a poster.

A dunk like that would be wonderful no matter who fell victim to it, but the fact that Green was on the receiving end makes it so much sweeter. In addition to being a three-time all-star, Draymond is the NBA’s foremost villain, known as much for dissing opponents, complaining to refs and, of course, kicking dudes in the nuts as he is for his brilliant skillset. Quite a few players would surely love to have been the one to throw down over him.

But here’s the great thing about Draymond: He was probably back talking trash on the next possession.
