Joel Embiid has missed 10 of the Sixers’ last 11 games with a knee injury, but he was at the Wells Fargo Center anyway Friday night.

Granted, Embiid wasn’t there for a basketball game; he was there for a Meek Mill concert. And when the Philly rapper called him up to the stage, the young center showed a crowd of thousands that post moves are far from his only talent. And also that his knee was doing just fine.

This was a great reminder that Embiid can really dance. He wasn’t just messing around up there, he was really showing off some moves.

We’ve seen this before from Embiid, though never before on stage in a packed arena.

Between the dancing and the All-Star campaign and the celebrity crushing and the funny tweets, it’s not a stretch to say Embiid is the most fun personality in the NBA. He’s a helluva player, too. You just hope his body holds up long enough for him to show it.

Oh, by the way, Embiid’s knee looked fine Friday. Maybe he should dial back the dancing while he’s trying to rest a lower-body injury, but hey, it’s not every day a famous rapper asks you onstage at his concert.
