While the Philadelphia 76ers ultimately lost Game 3 to the Boston Celtics Saturday (despite their premature confetti), they did come out of it with a couple of impressive highlights. One came from Joel Embiid’s poster dunk on Aron Baynes, made even better by Ben Simmons’ behind-the-back pass to set it up and by Embiid’s mask:

Dave Pasch’s “My goodness! Posterizes Baynes, and the foul! Process that!” call is superb, as is Doris Burke’s “That is no Phantom of The Process, this is a man of The Process” on the replay:

It’s interesting that one of the Sixers’ best highlights came on a forced turnover, as a couple of late turnovers wound up costing them the game. But at least they put up an impressive highlight. And Embiid finished with 22 points and 19 rebounds, so it was a pretty good day for him. It certainly would have been a better one if his team had been able to pull out the win, though.

  1. What a joke. The announcing team was off point the entire game. DB sounded like she spent 30 seconds prepping. Oh, and by the way Embiid shot 10 – 26. yeah, he had a great game. Dolt.
