Kawhi Leonard made his case to be the NBA’s MVP in a defining sequence in Monday night’s win over the Rockets.

Leonard hit the go-ahead three-pointer with 25 seconds left in the game, then executed a tremendous block of James Harden to secure the lead and the win.

Pretty great! Almost suspiciously super-human, right?

The NBA had to check to make sure. After Leonard’s incredible sequence, he was selected for a “random” drug test by the league.

Funny how that works!

In all seriousness, this really could have been a coincidence. Plenty of players hit game-winning shots and don’t get drug tested immediately after. But when you consider the timing, this was the perfect ending to describe Leonard’s almost-too-good performance.
