In some of the most unsurprising news of the year so far, the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Lakers are the two most valuable NBA teams, according to Forbes.

Despite both teams being terrible and one of them consistently being involved in silly scandals, the two most valuable NBA teams are the Knicks and Lakers. You know, the team that plays at Madison Square Garden and the team with the second most NBA titles, who play in the two largest markets in the country.

Forbes estimates the average NBA team is worth an incredible $1.36 billion at the moment, but once again, that’s partially thanks to the Knicks and Lakers both crossing the $3 billion mark.

New York is the most valuable team in the league at a whopping $3.3 billion, a 10% gain on last year. That price tag also includes a saga involving Charles Oakley being banned and unbanned from MSG, Carmelo Anthony being on the receiving Twitter shade from Phil Jackson, the owner being James Dolan, and of course, the team stinking on the court.

Thanks to a value increase of 11%, Los Angeles is second in the league with a $3 billion price tag. For the cost of $3 billion, you can acquire the team that used to employ Kobe Bryant, the rights to sell courtside seats for $2,750 per game, and the privilege to play in front of Jack Nicholson every so often.

As of February 14th, 2017, the two teams are a combined 42-72 this season and 91-187 since the start of last season. That’s right – the two most valuable teams in the NBA have a winning percentage .327 since the start of last season. That’s not good.

On top of all of this, neither team has made the playoffs since 2013.

Here’s how the rest of the top 10 teams NBA teams rank in terms of value:

1. New York Knicks – $3.3 billion

2. Los Angeles Lakers – $3 billion

3. Golden State Warriors – $2.6 billion

4. Chicago Bulls – $2.5 billion

5. Boston Celtics – $2.2 billion

6. Los Angeles Clippers – $2. billion

7. Brooklyn Nets – $1.8 billion

8. Houston Rockets – $1.65 billion

9. Dallas Mavericks – $1.45 billion

10. Miami Heat – $1.35 billion

And in case you’re too lazy to click through the whole list, the team with the lowest value in the NBA is the New Orleans Pelicans at $750 million.
