We’ve known for some time now that LeBron James supports Hillary Clinton in this year’s presidential election. As a result, James was there to help introduce Clinton as she was campaigning in the final days before the 2016 election.

While it was previously reported that James would be at Clinton’s rally, the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar added a little surprise by bringing teammate J.R. Smith with him.

Clinton was quick to acknowledge two of the most popular athletes in Cleveland in her remarks in front of the Ohio crowd.

Sunday was the first time Clinton and James had met in person, despite the fact James has been supporting the democratic candidate for some time now. Aside from publicly making his support known. Along with that, James was notably absent from this year’s Republican National Convention, which was held in Cleveland.
