Following Charles Oakley’s now-infamous incident at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, LeBron James took to Instagram to show his support for the former longtime New York Knicks forward:
And on Thursday night after the Cavs-Thunder game in Oklahoma City, James gave an even bigger endorsement for Oakley:
LeBron makes a statement, ends post game session, then tells reporters as they disperse: "Oh, I'm sorry. I missed one. Oakley for president"

Prior to writing in Charles Oakley for president, LeBron spoke for about 30 seconds and essentially said, "We're happy with our road trip."

In case you didn’t already know, LeBron doesn’t seem to be the biggest supporter of how things are going on around the Knicks’ organization these days. It started in December when James said he didn’t have any interest in talking with New York boss Phil Jackson, following Jackson’s “posse” comments regarding James’ friends and associates.
Then, he went after those who started the Carmelo Anthony for Kevin Love trade rumors.
LeBron certainly isn’t alone in coming to Oakley’s defense. NBA stars — and LeBron buddies — Dwyane Wade and Chris Paul also shared their support for Oakley on Instagram:
This situation seems like it’s only going to get uglier for the Knicks.
