Marc Gasol header putback

I don’t care that it didn’t count. The first half of Game 2 between the Spurs and the Grizzlies was mostly a snoozefest with San Antonio opening up a 57-36 lead at the break. But Memphis center Marc Gasol made things interesting late in the half by headbutting a missed shot and getting nothing but net.

Unfortunately, the shot did not count due to a foul on the initial miss. And of course, if the shot had counted, it was on the Spurs’ basket.

We’ve seen Gasol try this before a couple of times. But Monday’s against the Spurs was definitely the highest degree of difficulty.

I think we have an idea of which Gasol brother would win in a game of H-O-R-S-E.
