It took just three games into DeMarcus Cousins’ career with the New Orleans Pelicans for the much-maligned star to get a technical foul.

Boogie was T’d up only 32 seconds into Sunday night’s Pelicans game against the Oklahoma City Thunder:

It’s Cousins’ 18th technical foul of the season. And unless the NBA review decides it’s not a technical, Cousins will be suspended for one game per NBA rules. Earlier this month, Cousins was suspended for picking up his 16th technical with just one second left in the game!

Boogie also showed frustration on the sidelines and looked like he was about to punch a chair (again): in the third quarter:

These are the kind of things that led the Sacramento Kings to ultimately trade him.

But Cousins’ talent is undeniable, and he showed off his skills in this game with 31 points and 10 rebounds. Of course, he can’t produce if he’s suspended, and every remaining game is huge for a New Orleans team that currently sits 3.5 games behind the eighth-seeded Denver Nuggets for a playoff spot in the Western Conference.
