Canadian fan

Dressing up for games? Sure! Showing your team allegiances? Absolutely! Even showing off your national pride? Why not! But doing so with an umbrella representing your country on your head, during a game played indoors where there’s no chance of precipitation falling on you? That’s a little different. Here’s a clip of one Toronto Raptors’ fan who chose to do just that (plus literally wrap himself in the flag) during Game Four of the Raptors’ series against the Bucks in Milwaukee Saturday night.

Twitter had some fun with that.

Perhaps this guy is trying to become the next Leafs’ Dart Guy. If so, more power to him. But we have some questions about that umbrella. Does it contain poisonous pellets? Does it actually keep off the rain? Has he ever poked anyone’s eye out with it? Hopefully these and other important questions will be answered if this guy shows up later in the series. Game Five is Monday in Toronto; we’ll see if Umbrella Guy shows up.
