Dunking on old people is mean, but the New Orleans Pelicans’ Ryan Anderson did just that on Thursday night against the Los Angeles Lakers with this posterizing slam:

Unfortunately for Anderson and the Pelicans, that old guy is one Kobe Bean Bryant, and you know Kobe — even at 37 — is going to do something big after getting dunked on like that.

Watch Kobe hit a dagger three less than a minute later, with a great Kevin Harlan call:

Classic Mamba and classic Harlan.

The Lakers would win by the score of 99-96, and Kobe finished with 27 points. He’s now scored 88 over his last three games (29.3 points per game).

Kobe’s legs are feeling better and that seems to be the key to his stellar play of late:

The scoring will be tougher to come by for Kobe on Saturday night, when the Lakers have to play the Spurs in San Antonio.
