The Los Angeles Clippers were pummeled by the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday night at Staples Center (the game wasn’t as close as the 113-100 score suggests), but they at least got a nice performance from rookie guard Sindarius Thornwell.

The South Carolina product scored a career-high 20 points, dished out seven assists, and pulled down five rebounds. He also had an absolutely ridiculous dunk that he threw down on the Pelicans’ DeAndre Liggins.

This vicious jam had to remind Clippers fans of Blake Griffin:

Better play from the Clippers-Pelicans game: Thornwell’s dunk or Anthony Davis’ dunk (with an off-the-backboard feed from Rajon Rondo)?
