The good thing about spending two seasons on the bench with injuries is you get a lot of time to think. And when you get enough time to think, you may come up with a good entrepreneurial idea or two.

Enter 76ers center Joel Embiid, who has become synonymous with “The Process” as Philadelphia has tanked in recent years to build its franchise through the NBA Draft. Embiid was drafted in 2014 but missed his first two seasons due to a broken navicular bone in his right foot.

If you need any more proof that Embiid is now “The Process,” check out these new official t-shirts the NBA unveiled Thursday.

The guys at Crossing Broad, a Philadelphia sports blog, did some digging and found out Embiid has filed through his agency, CAA Sports, to trademark “The Process.” One filing is for “goods and services,” including “apparel, namely, shirts, sweatshirts, shorts, sweatpants, hats, flip flops.”

The second filing is where things get fun, as Embiid reveals he is going after rubber bracelets, children’s books and pre-bottled Shirley Temple drinks.

It’s fitting that Embiid is going after specifically Shirley Temples, as he has admitted to downing the non-alcoholic drinks “by the pitcher” during a VICE Sports interview in June.
