With the New York Knicks leading the Philadelphia 76ers 97-96 in the final seconds, Knicks second-year phenom Kristaps Porzingis got a wide-open three to put the game out of reach… and airballed.

The Sixers got the rebound, sprinted down the court, and got the ball to point guard T.J. McConnell on the baseline. McConnell put a spin move on Carmelo Anthony and nailed a game-winning buzzer-beater over Anthony and Porzingis:

Just when you think things can’t get much worse for the Knicks. Melo’s reaction after McConnell’s game-winner said it all:

The Sixers, meanwhile, now have more wins (11!) on the season than they had all of last season, and are 3-1 in 2017. Trust the process indeed.
