Whatever you are doing, please stop, put down your drink and listen to me very closely. Are you listening? Good. The Philadelphia 76ers are in the win column for the first time this season. After some blowouts and some close calls, the Sixers finally found themselves on the winning end of a tight game as they edged the Indiana Pacers in overtime Friday night, 109-105.

Yes, it’s true! The Sixers have a win. Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 25 pointsm seven rebounds and a block, once again giving fans reason to believe he may be a long=-awaited key piece to a bright future for the franchise.

How big of a deal is this? Well, it’s been a long time since the Sixers won a game before December.

Also, newly minted Hall of Famer Allen Iverson was on hand for the game, so that’s cool. But really all that matters is that the 76ers won a game. Now, how long will the wait for a second win last?

Trust that process, baby!
