As a 7-foot-3-inch, 290-pound behemoth from Serbia, Boban Marjanovic is not the NBA player you’d most expect to dance on camera to Webstar and Young B’s 2006 pop-rap hit “Chicken Noodle Soup.”

And yet there he was Thursday night on Instagram letting it rain and clearing it out and remembering the soda on the side, with some help from Detroit Pistons teammate Tobias Harris.

This is what the NBA is all about. Teamwork, camaraderie, fun and teaching European guys about hip-hop.

The “Chicken Noodle Soup” routine is actually not the first go-round for the Tobias-Boban duo. Last week, Harris attempted to teach his teammate the “Milly Rock,” though based on a brief clip he posted to Twitter, that attempt doesn’t seem to have gone quite so smoothly.

But hey, we’ve got to give Boban a little bit of credit for his “Chicken Noodle Soup” moves. Sure he’s a half-step slow next to Harris and he damn near forgot that soda, but he’s got some rhythm.

Hopefully Harris continues to tutor his extremely tall teammate and continues to post the results to social media. Before long, Boban could become the world’s tallest Rockette… or something.
